Trial Carnivorous Plants
Got these from World Farm when I went down yesterday. Temporarily housing them in the Ikea "greenhouse" and sharing my 2ft T5HO light with my 1 feet cube tank.

I saw your postings on desirable small orchids for this project in GCS. I am thinking perhaps Phalenopsis parishii which I am growing myself or P. appendiculata. Alternatively, jewel orchids like Macodes and Ludisia discolor but they need shade and some may be shortlived. Podochilus microphyllus and Appendicula are small and fern-like grown more for foliage than flowers. There are nice small Erias but they tend to like more light and less sprays so keep from direct spray all the time, same for many Dendorbiums in Aporum section and Oberonia. Coelogyne pallens may also be suitable and small. Actually, in the wild, many Gesneriads and Begonias grow besides waterfalls and they make good impact even out of flowers as their leaves are very decorative.
